The Economic Forum 2013 was an event organized by EUROCHAMBRES, the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with TOBB, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey. During the Economic Forum 2013 there were morning and afternoon sessions. Participants had the opportunity to attend thematic workshops where experts from the Chamber world and beyond shared their perspectives, knowledge and best practices. Correlatively, within this context, the Haliç Congress Center had been decided this year as the venue of the event. With its halls, auditoriums, foyers and outdoor areas the Haliç Congress Center offered an agreeable and comfortable visit to its guests during the 2013 EUROCHAMBRES Economic Forum. Relying on its locational advantages including an area of 102,000 m2, with 16,000 m2 of outdoor space, the Haliç Congress Center was also capable to assist the technical equipment based on the lasted technological infrastructure. Among its equipage with the latest technological infrastructure, the Haliç Congress Center benefits also from its locational advantages as being the only seaside congress center of Istanbul. Except its ideal situation along the shores of the world famous Golden Horn, the Haliç Congress Center is also easily accessible from anywhere in the city; such that the Taksim Square and Sultanahmet is 7 minutes away from the Center while Ataturk International Airport is in distance of 25 minutes. As for the transportations; transfers from recommended hotels to the venue and vice versa were easy and comfortable enough for the guests of the forum which were provided by TOBB itself. Finally, the participants could benefit the Haliç Congress Center’s unique location along the banks of the Haliç, also known as ‘the Golden Horn’ 2013 during the EUROCHAMBRES Economic Forum while the Center was content of welcoming its very important guest.
